The 1993 Bicentennial Set was issued to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the official first striking of regular U.S. coins produced for circulation at the Philadelphia mint.  The 1993 BicentennialGold set is very similar to other gold Eagle proof set in that it includes the 1/10 ounce, 1/4 ounce,  and 1/2 ounce gold eagle coins. However, in addition to these you also get a $1 silver eagle and the rare Philadelphia Bicentennial Medal.
